JUNIOR STEWARDESS PACKAGE
The stewardess course runs over 5 days and covers all aspects of working in both the housekeeping and service departments on board. You will learn different types of service such as silver services, plated, buffet etc and come away with many other skills such as flower arranging, barista skills, wine knowledge and napkin folding to name a few. In addition, you will be taught how to find work, write an eye-catching cv, understand visa requirements and so much more.
We highly recommend this course to anyone wanting to serve as a steward/ess.

RYA Powerboat Level 2 - PB2
The Powerboat Level 2 (PB2) course is required for persons working in the Superyacht industry and allows crew to legally operate a tender.
​
This qualification does not only allow you to operate a small powered craft on a Superyacht, but also those who wish to operate a harbour patrol launch and charter fishing boat tenders.
The PB2 handling certificate can be commercially endorsed, which will then allow the holder working on a Commercial vessel up to 24m to operate the tender up to 3 miles from a nominated departure point in good weather, and daylight hours.
To commercially endorse your PB2 certificate, you will have to complete the PPR (Professional Practices and Responsibilities) online course.

The PB2 course consists of theory and practical training and does not require previous experience. The minimum age is 12, but the holder can only commercially endorse the qualification at the age of 17.
The following areas will be covered during the PB2 course:

How to be handle a Powerboat and be self-sufficient at basic level
Launching, mooring, anchoring and recovery
All boat driving skills for basic competence in powerboat handling
Rules of the Road (Collision Regulations)
Once you have completed the course you will be able to handle the boat in the right conditions, be aware of your limitations and those of the craft.

RYA Personal Watercraft - PWC
Almost all Superyachts carry jet skis aboard, and you are required to hold your PWC proficiency license in order to legally operate them on board.
​
The RYA PWC consists of theory and practical training and is definitely one of the more engaging courses we offer.
The following areas will be covered during a PWC:
​
Launching handling and recovery skills
Passage planning and decision making
How to operate the PWC under high and low speed, riding skills
Essential safety information
Collision avoidance and orientation at sea
Once you have completed the course you will be able to handle the PWC in good conditions.

SAMSA VHF - Short Range
This course is a must, should you wish to Skipper any type of vessel, be it a Sailing Vessel, Motor Cruiser, Tender or Superyacht. Being able to operate a radio under any condition can save the lives of the crew and any passengers aboard should there be an emergency situation. The SAMSA SRC course is run over one day, followed by a practical exam. The SAMSA radio license is recognized both locally and internationally.
The course is taught and examined using radio simulators. The exam part includes both a practical and a written section.

DIVING Courses
The water may be cold in Cape Town, but it isn't everywhere!

More and more employers are looking for crew with additional qualifications and diving is one of the main ones.
We can help you go from PADI open water to Dive Master in a few short weeks.

New course options include Freediving up to instructor level as well as our Superyacht Dive Supervising and equipment care which has proven to be extremely helpful for crew involved in dive operations.

KITEBOARDING Courses
Cape Town has some of the best kiting conditions in the world and is one of the best places to learn.
Many of today's yachts carry kiteboarding equipment and crew regularly go kiting with guests (that is if you know how to of course)
Courses are run in both Cape Town and Langebaan with qualified and highly trained professionals.
